Day Four - I can WALK

I am truly blessed to have physical use of my body, because I have the privilege of moving and doing anything that I desire.

Our bodies work perfectly. We don't have to think to take a breath, or remember to keep our heart pumping or our other body systems work. Everything just works. Yet we often have complaints about our bodies. We look in the mirror and talk down about ourselves. We know what we want to change about ourselves but are not often grateful about what is good about ourselves. Which by the way is everything.

Today is all about being thankful for our bodies and how magnificent they are. Our bodies do things that we have no control over and don't need to put in effort into. We process air through our lungs, food with our digestive system, knowledge with our brains. Our bodies work just as they are supposed to. When you become more thankful for your health you may be more likely to do things that will help your health improve. But even if you don't guess what, your body will put up its best effort to give you the life every morning. So you can still be grateful.

On a card write the the following words. "The gift of health is keeping me alive." Leave this on a desk or in a pocket and throughout your day just take a moment to look at it and be grateful for your health and body.
